Gaia's owner and CEO, Anas Othman, is identified by his own Facebook profile. The same profile shows him married since 27 February 2016 to Shefaa Hamsho Othman, whose own profile confirms the marriage, carries the Hamsho surname, and lists her work as design at Sama TV — a Sama Alsham Group subsidiary already in this register. The estate had a second IT operator before Gaia
Twenty-seven domains authorise mail relays belonging to BOC — Business Optimization Consultants, a Damascus/Aleppo web firm — in their published SPF records, none of them registered after 5 January 2017. Every domain registered after that date is BOC-free, and the whole Union estate, built from 12 January 2017 onward, is the first cluster built entirely without it. BOC appears to be the estate's IT operator before Gaia, with the handover falling in the first week of January 2017.
Two UN bodies paid into the same sanctioned estate
UNICEF paid Jupiter for Investments over half a million dollars for "management and admin services"; separately, Cham Contracting installed UNDOF's headquarters security system at Yafour Resort, a hotel trade press reports as owned by Hamsho Group International. Two independent UN money flows into the same estate, one of them into a property the estate itself owns.

samapower.sy's own .sy registry record lists "Hamsho Group" as Registrant Organization in the clear — the .sy registry does not offer the privacy redaction Dynadot .com registrations get. This is registry paperwork, not inference, and a more direct ownership signal than most of the DNS/hosting evidence this register otherwise relies on.
The -hi suffix ties cec-hi.com to Cham Engineering and Contracting
cec-hi.com is the second-oldest domain in the register, sharing a distinctive -hi suffix with only one other domain, jupiter-hi.com — Jupiter for Investment and Tourism, named directly in Mohammed Hamcho's EU/UK designation. "CEC" is Sama Alsham Group's own abbreviation for Cham Engineering and Contracting, a confirmed subsidiary, on its own subsidiary page.
Two separate legal actions against critics, one filed by Hamsho himself
Mohammed Hamsho personally filed a defamation case against activist Abdel Hamid Al Assaf on 21 April 2025 — independently corroborated by contemporaneous Arabic-language reporting — and withdrew it on the scheduled hearing date, 5 June 2025, after media scrutiny. This is the second documented legal action against a critic from within this estate, alongside Ammar Younes's June 2026 complaint against Hassan Akkad.
