The Al-Dabbas name reaches Hamsho by marriage, not just affiliation

Mohammed Hamcho's wife is Rania al-Dabbas — designated with the four children under the Caesar Act in June 2020. The Al-Dabbas surname is the same one carried by DAK's owners (Fadi, Ghiyath and Abeer Al-Dabbas) and by Fadi al-Dabbas, reported co-founder of the Hamsho-protection security firm Hisn al-Sham. The marriage is the first documented family bridge between the Hamsho line and the Al-Dabbas names threaded through the Sama Alsham food and security clusters.

Multiple independent technical or documentary indicators agree, with no contrary evidence.

The marriage itself is confirmed by multiple reports, including Al Jazeera's encyclopedia profile and Syria Direct.

What is not established here is whether Rania al-Dabbas is a direct relative of DAK's Al-Dabbas owners — the surname match is a lead worth taking to the Syrian commercial register, not a proven shareholding link.

Reporting separately names a brother-in-law, Ruslan al-Khayyat, as an alleged sanctions-evasion accomplice; the different surname means the exact family geometry is still open.
