"Tahweel" remittance brand
Tahweel is Arabic for money transfer. Four transliterations of the name were block-registered within one second of each other in September 2015 and all four are now suspended. Alongside smartmoney.sy this is the only financial-services thread in the estate, and nothing has been recovered about what the business was or whether it ever operated. Given the sanctions context, informal value transfer is the sector where it would matter most.
